In an effort to save administrators the trouble of installing another program the Outlook Addin will create the Sales Appointment program in the local Mover's Suite folder upon startup. By default Windows doesn't allow users permission Write to the Program Files folder, so an administrator needs to allow users access to the ThirdParty folder. Please follow the directions below to enable the automatic installation of the Sales Appointment program.

If your users access Mover's Suite via terminal services or you would like to install manually you can download it from here. Otherwise follow the instructions below.

To allow automatic local installation of the Sales Appointment program you must configure a Group Policy setting. That setting is located under Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | File System. Here's the procedure:
  1. Go to the location in the Group Policy listed above.

    Click Edit

  2. Right-click File System.

  3. Click Add File.

  4. In the "Add a file or folder" window, type the folder (C:\Program Files\Movers Suite) for which you want the permissions to be set, and click OK.

  5. In the security box that pops up, you add the group that needs permission to the folder. (Domain Users)

  6. Select Modify Access, and click OK.

  7. Configure permission inheritance.

There's one thing to keep in mind: Although the path to the file or folder is, by default, pointing to the folders on the server, the path is relative to the client to whom this Group Policy will be applied. Simply type the path to the folder in the text box if you don't see the folder you need listed there.
